【摘要】:ThisPASprovidesrecommendationsandguidancefortheimplementationofabiometricsystem.Inparticular,itprovidesrecommendationsandguidanceon:a)assessingtheneedforarecognitionsystem(seeClause3);b)determiningthetypeofrecognitionsystemtouse(seeClause4);c)planningfortheimplementationofabiometricsystem(seeClause5);d)acceptancetestingabiometricsystem(seeClause6);ande)operatingabiometricsystem(seeClause7).ThisPASfocusesonthespecificaspectsrelatedtoinclusionofabiometricsystematthecoreofarecognitionsystemwheretherecognitionofpeopleisanimportantrequirementofanapplication.ThisPASisapplicableacrossawiderangeofapplicationsthatincorporateabiometricsystem.However,itismainlydirectedatsmall-andmediumsizedself?containedsystems,typicallythoseimplementedbycommercialorganizationsorlocalauthorities.Itisalsoequallyapplicabletooff?the?shelfapplicationsthatincorporateabiometricsystemsuchasatimeandattendancesystem,aswellasbespokeapplicationswherethebiometricsystemrequiresintegrationwithothersystems.
