【摘要】:Themeasuredorcalculatedequilibriumdensityofstructurallightweightconcretedetermineswhetherspecifieddensityrequirementshavebeenmet.Unlessotherwisespecified,determineequilibriumdensitybycalculationusingtheproceduresin9.2.TestMethodC138/C138Mshallbeusedtodeterminethedensityoffreshlymixedlightweightconcreteforcompliancewithconcreteplacementspecifications.Note18212;Thefreshdensityoflightweightaggregateconcreteisafunctionofmixtureproportions,aircontent,waterdemand,andthespecificdensityandmoisturecontentofthelightweightaggregate.Decreaseindensityofaspecificlightweightconcreteisduetomoisturelossthat,inturn,isafunctionofaggregatemoisturecontent,ambientconditions,andtheratioofthesurfaceareatothevolumeoftheconcretemember.Formoststructurallightweightconcretes,equilibriumdensityisapproachedatabout90days.Formosthigh-strengthlightweightconcretes,equilibriumdensityisapproachedatabout180days.Extensivetestsdemonstratethatdespitevariationsintheinitialmoisturecontentoflightweightaggregate,theequilibriumdensitywillbeapproximately50kg/m3(3.0lb/ft3)greaterthantheoven-drydensity.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesprocedurestodeterminetheoven-dryandequilibriumdensitiesofstructurallightweightconcrete.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
