【摘要】:1.1ThistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforqualifyingtheperformanceofjointrestraintproductsforuseonPVCpressurepipesystemsbyevaluatingtheeffectofthejointrestraintproductontheperformancecharacteristicsofPVCpipeduringcyclicpressuretestsandstaticpressuretests.ThePVCpipepropertyvaluesreferencedinthistestmethodareforthe12454compoundasdescribedinSpecificationD1784.Thatincludes,butisnotlimitedto,pipeproducedinaccordancewiththefollowingstandards:SpecificationsD1785andD2241,AWWAC900,andAWWAC905.1.2Thistestmethoddeterminestheshort-termperformanceofajointrestraintproductonPVCpipe,whichinvolvesthetestingofrestrainedjointtestsectionstotheminimumburstpressurerequirementsofthepipetodeterminequickburstperformance.1.3Thistestmethoddeterminesthelong-termeffectofajointrestraintproductonPVCpipe,whichinvolvesthetestingofrestrainedjointtestsectionstothesustainedpressurerequirementsofthepipeforaperiodof1000h.1.4ThistestmethodaddressesrestraintproductsthatareratedatthefullpressurecapacityofthePVCpipeonwhichtheyareused.Therearejointrestraintdevicesavailablethatarenotratedatthefullpressurecapacityofthepipe.Whilethoseproductshaveprovenacceptableandusefulinthemarketplace,thistestmethoddoesnotapplytothoseproducts.1.5ThistestmethoddeterminestheperformanceofajointrestraintproductonPVCpipesubjectedtocyclicpressuresurges.TheperformanceiscomparedtothebaselineperformanceofpipewithoutjointrestraintproductsestablishedbyHerbertW.Vinson.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodetermineparticlesizedistributionsformaterialspecifications,manufacturingcontrol,andresearchanddevelopmentworkintheparticlesizerangeusuallyencounteredinfluidizablecrackingcatalysts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofparticlesizedistributionofcatalystandcatalystcarrierparticlesusinganelectroconductivesensingmethodandisoneofseveralvaluablemethodsforthemeasurementofparticlesize.1.2Therangeofparticlesizesinvestigatedwas20to150m(seeIEEE/ASTMSI10)equivalentsphericaldiameter.Thetechniqueiscapableofmeasuringparticlesaboveandbelowthisrange.Theinstrumentusedforthismethodisanelectriccurrentpathofsmalldimensionsthatismodulatedbyindividualparticlepassagethroughanaperture,andproducesindividualpulsesofamplitudeproportionaltotheparticlevolume.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
