MOTOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE (VEHICLE SUPPORT STANDS) AND STORAGE (5 OCT 1990)., This specification covers adjustable trestles (vehicle support stands),of the rack and pawl types, positioned under raised motor vehicle to support the vehicle at predetermined heights during maintenance or storage. Trestles are designed to be used in pairs. The terms trestle and vehicle support stand are used interchangeably in this specification.
