【摘要】:Thispracticeisforgeneraluseingatheringandreportingdynamicmechanicaldata.Itincorporateslaboratorypracticefordeterminingdynamicmechanicalpropertiesofplasticspecimenssubjectedtovariousoscillatorydeformationsonavarietyofinstrumentsofthetypecommonlycalleddynamicmechanicalanalyzersordynamicthermomechanicalanalyzers.Thispracticeisintendedtoprovidemeansofdeterminingthetransitiontemperatures,elastic,andlossmoduliofplasticsoverarangeoftemperatures,frequencies,ortime,byfreevibrationandresonantornonresonantforcedvibrationtechniques.Plotsofelasticandlossmoduliareindicativeoftheviscoelasticcharacteristicsofaplastic.Thesemoduliarefunctionsoftemperatureorfrequencyinplastics,andchangerapidlyatparticulartemperaturesorfrequencies.Theregionsofrapidmodulichangearenormallyreferredtoastransitionregions.Thepracticeisprimarilyusefulwhenconductedoverarangeoftemperaturesfrom160Ctopolymerdegradationandisvalidforfrequenciesfrom0.01to1000Hz.Thispracticeisintendedformaterialsthathaveanelasticmodulusintherangefrom0.5MPato100GPa[73psito1.510psi].Discrepanciesinresultsareknowntoarisewhenobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Withoutchangingtheobserveddata,reportinginfull(asdescribedinthispractice)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtainedwillenableapparentdifferencesobservedinanotherstudytobereconciled.Anassumptionofthistechniqueisthattestingisconductedintheregionoflinearviscoelasticbehavior.Differentmodesofdeformation,suchastensile,bendingandshear,areused,aslistedinthereferencedtestmethods.Testdataobtainedbythispracticearerelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection.Note1ThispracticeisequivalenttoISO6721-1.
